Texas Governor starts busing migrants to Washington

The governor of Texas has made good on a pledge to start busing migrants from the border to Washington.

The first group arrived on Wednesday morning - pulling up just blocks from the U.S. Capitol.

The move is part of Governor Greg Abbott's strategy to counter the Biden Administration's immigration policies.

U.S. officials may expand the scope of weapons it provides to Ukraine

EU suspends military training programs in Mali.

OIL TRADER VITOL GROUP MOVING AWAY FROM RUSSIA

One of the world's leading independent oil traders Vitol Group says it intends to stop trading Russian-origin crude oil by the end of the year. In emails to Bloomberg, a spokesperson is reported to have said the company expects volumes of Russian oil handled by the company to 'diminish significantly' in the second quarter - with contractual obligations completed by 2022. Man given whole life sentence for murdering British MP

The man responsible for the murder of British Member of Parliament Sir David Amess has been given a whole life sentence.


26-year-old Ali Harbi Ali, from Kentish Town in north London, fatally stabbed the MP more than 20 times at a constituency surgery before he was arrested.

New York officials still searching for subway shooting suspect

Officials in New York say they are still searching for the suspect behind Tuesday’s mass shoot in a subway station.
