British MP comes out as transgender

A Welsh politician has spoken out about their struggles with gender dysmorphia, making them the first openly transgender British member of parliament.


In a personal statement, Conservative MP Jamie Wallis praised the support of colleagues and said it was 'important to be yourself'.

US skeptical of Russia's vow to suspent attacks on Kyiv, Chernihiv

US officials are dismissing claims by the Kremlin that it's planning to scale back some military operations in Ukraine, saying the world should view Russia's plans as a "redeployment" not a "withdrawal".

Gunmen Attack Nigerian Passenger Train
