Federal judge: Trump "more than likely" committed crime trying to overturn election

A US federal judge has ruled that former President Donald Trump "more likely than not" committed crimes in trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
It's a significant breakthrough for the House committee investigating the January 6th attack on the Capitol, as it weighs making a criminal referral to the Justice Department.

Abramovich, Ukrainian negotiators "poisoned" during March talks in Kyiv
A spokesman for Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich has confirmed reports that he suffered from an unexplained illness earlier this month after participating in early-stage talks in Kyiv about negotiations with the Russians.
The Wall Street Journal newspaper reports that Mr. Abramovich along with two Ukrainian negotiators suffered from eyesight and skin issues after the meeting.
Mr. Abramovich received medical attention in Turkey after temporarily losing his sight.
The Ukrainian negotiators claim the men were poisoned by hardliners in Russia seeking to torpedo the talks.

Russia to restrict visas for foreigners from "unfriendly states" including the US
Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to sign a presidential decree, restricting visas for foreigners from a raft of “unfriendly states”.

Evidence of mass graves growing in Mariupol, theater death toll at 300
The United Nations monitoring mission in Ukraine says there is more evidence of mass graves in the besieged port city of Mariupol.
Total civilian casualties are hard to verify given the city has been under Russian bombardments for weeks.
But 300 people are now thought to have died in the theater attack alone.

Wife of Supreme Court judge urged 2020 election overturn
Virginia Thomas, the wife of US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, repeatedly urged White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to overturn the 2020 Presidential election.
That's according to text messages she sent, which Mr Meadows then turned over to a House committee investigating the January 6th Capitol riot.
Ms Thomas called President Joe Biden's victory "the greatest heist of our history" and pressed Donald Trump's top aide to "not concede."
