Scientists make breakthrough in nuclear fusion


A team of European scientists says it has smashed the previous world record for energy produced from nuclear fusion.

The process - which occurs naturally within the Sun and other stars - is seen as the holy grail of clean energy.

Top EU officials in Senegal ahead of landmark summit
