Native American tribes reach $590 million settlement over opioids

Native American tribes have agreed to a $590 million settlement with Johnson and Johnson as well as three drug distribution companies over the effects of the opioid crisis.

Many tribes have been disproportionately impacted by opioids produced by pharmaceutical companies.

Pfizer preparing for Covid-19 vaccine approval for under 5s

Deadly Brawl at Texas prison sparks nationwide lockdown

Federal prisons across the United States are in lockdown after a gang fight broke out at a Texas penitentiary on Monday.

Two inmates were killed and two others injured.

The rare move has left more than 134,000 prisoners confined to their cells and all visitations canceled.
