Players speak out against testing protocols at Australian Open

Two of the world's best tennis players have spoken out against what they say are inadequate testing protocols at the Australian Open.

During a qualifying match, former world No.17 Bernard Tomic questioned testing availability and claimed he had Covid -- which was later confirmed.

Biden admits US should have done better at covid testing and acknowledges pain of inflation

US president Joe Biden has admitted that the US should have done more testing for Covid-19 earlier in the pandemic, but says that his administration is "doing more now."


He also acknowledged that Americans are struggling with high cost of living, during a lengthy press conference to mark his first year in office.

Biden: "I didn't overpromise" as he defends record on one-year anniversary

US President Joe Biden has defended his record on the eve of the
anniversary of his first year in office, saying he "didn't
overpromise".

At his first press conference in more than two and a half months the
president outlined how his administration has improved the economy,
job prospects and the Covid-19 situation over the last 12 months.

But his one-year mark comes as polls show only 33% of the population
approve of his running of the country.

In Kyiv, Blinken again urges Russia to de-escalate Ukraine tensions

Belgian court sentences Vietnamese man to 15 years in prison in migrant trafficking case
