French police release Saudi man wrongly held over connection to Jamal Khashoggi death

French police have released the man arrested on Tuesday at a Paris
airport who was believed to have been wanted in connection with the
killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.

It is understood the Saudi national who was detained had the same name
as another man wanted over what the UN says was the "extrajudicial
killing" of Jamal Khashoggi "by Saudi Arabia" three years ago.

Pfizer BioNTech says booster offers significant protection against Omicron

India's top general dies in a helicopter accident

India's top military commander has died in a helicopter crash, the country's Air Force has confirmed.

The accident took place in Southern India and 12 other people on board have also died in the crash.

The sole survivor of the crash is currently being treated for severe burn injuries.
