Ugandan President Says Bombo Explosion in a Kampala Pub was Terrorist Attack

Ugandan Police have confirmed one person died and 5 people were injured in that bomb blast on Saturday night.

EU leaders bid farewell to Merkel at EU Council summit

European Union leaders have gathered for a second day of talks in Brussels.

It followed an inconclusive evening where little progress was made on energy prices and the rule of law.

The summit wrapped up with a warm send-off for Angela Merkel, making possibly her last appearance at an EU Council summit as German Chancellor.

Talks taking place in Paris on reviving Iran nuclear deal

Buckingham Palace has confirmed the Queen spent Wednesday night in hospital.

A statement says the monarch, who's 95, underwent "preliminary investigations" after doctors had advised her to call off a trip to Northern Ireland to rest.

Death tolls climbs in India as flood waters recede

Prop gun fired by Alec Baldwin leaves one dead, one injured

Alec Baldwin discharged a prop gun while on set in New Mexico, fatally shooting the film's director of photography and injuring the director.

Australia – Qantas to resume flights

House votes to hold Trump ally Steve Bannon in contempt

The US House of Representatives has voted to hold former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon in criminal contempt of Congress.


It's after he defied a subpoena to appear before the committee investigating the January 6th attack on the Capitol.
