Health authorities in Germany have issued new advice about Halloween, telling parents to remember the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic when taking their children trick or treating. 

The information is being led by several states, with regional governments saying they don't want the holiday to cause a spike in new infections.

UK SETS OUT CARBON PLAN

The UK's setting out a £4bn ($5.5bn) plan to reduce carbon emissions from the heating of homes and other buildings.

It includes subsidies of £5000 for homeowners to replace gas boilers with heat pumps.

Critics say the plan will only cover 90 000 heat pumps over three years.

Uganda Considers Making Vaccination Compulsory

French prime minister visits Pope Francis after child abuse scandal

21 killed in deadly floods in South India

The south Indian state of Kerala has been devastated by deadly floods that have claimed at least 21 lives and left hundreds missing.
