The U.S. Food and Drug Administration advisory panel is hearing from Modera on Thursday, about a request to authorise half-dose COVID-vaccines for people 65 and older, as well as for younger adults who are at high risk of severe illness.
More people are getting the initial doses of the COVID vaccines in the U.S, as vaccine mandates are introduced.

The European Commission says it wants to cut customs paperwork for goods moving between Great Britain and Northern Ireland in half.
The EU revealed a new package of proposals just a day after the British government called for the Northern Ireland Protocol - a key part of the Brexit agreement - to be radically altered.
An electronic cigarette has been authorised as 'appropriate for the protection of public health' by the US Federal Drug Administration for the first time.
