WHO approves first ever Malaria vaccine

The World Health Organization has approved the first ever malaria vaccine.

It's a disease that kills roughly half a million people per year,
overwhelmingly in sub-Saharan Africa.

Amazon launches its first physical physical non-food store in UK

Amazon has opened its first non-food physical store in the UK.


The store named amazon 4-star is also the first outside the US and will stock all kinds of products based on sales data taken from its website.

BORIS JOHNSON SAYS UK GOVERNMENT SHOULD RECOGNISE CHALLENGE AGHEAD

Mr Johnson said that the UK's successful vaccine rollout was responsible for the nation's economy reopening quickly following Covid19 lockdowns - saying the UK now has the fastest growth within the G7. EU lawmakers to debate Pandora Papers leak amid removal of three countries from tax haven blacklist

The European Parliament will debate the revelations made by the Pandora Papers…

… the massive document leak into the use of tax havens by global elites.

It comes after EU finance ministers decided to remove the Seychelles and two Caribbean islands of Anguilla and Dominica from its official blacklist of tax havens.

Protesting farmers say government has one week to arrest the son of an Indian federal minister

Protesting farmers in North India say the government has one week to arrest the son of an Indian federal minister who has been accused of mowing down a group of farmers in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The minister has denied the charge and claims that neither he nor his son were present at the time of the accident. But opposition leaders are demanding the minister be sacked.

8 people - including four farmers - were killed in the incident.

Russia sees huge jump in COVID-19 deaths to reach new record

Japanese public divided over new government

The Japanese public is divided over the country's new government, according to a local media survey. Fumio Kishida - a former foreign minister-  was formally elected as prime minister on Monday, and he must lead his party through a general election at the end of the month.

Facebook Whistleblower Testifies

Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen (HOW-gun) has painted an alarming picture of the social media company in testimony before the US Senate.
