European Commission says U.S. should recognise travellers with Astrazeneca vaccine


The European Commission says the U.S. should recognise people who've received the Astrazeneca coronavirus vaccine when it lifts travel restrictions.

"Unacceptable" data breach puts Afghan interpreters at risk

The UK's Defence Secretary Ben Wallace has launched an investigation into a data breach involving the contact details of Afghan interpreters who worked for British forces.

New UK travel rules kick up a storm in India

US to lift travel ban for vaccinated travellers from EU & UK

The Biden administration says it will lift the ban on fully vaccinated foreigners travelling to the US from the EU and UK in November.

Pfizer-BioNTech says COVID vaccine is safe and effective for ages 5 to 11

Pfizer BioNTech announced on Monday that children from ages 5 to 11 years old did get a strong immune response from a smaller dose of a COVID-vaccine, as seen in a trial.

US to Open to Vaccinated Travelers in November

The US will soon allow foreign nationals to enter the country if they show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 as well as a recent negative test for the virus.

Kidnappers release 10 students abducted two months ago from Nigerian school


Kidnappers in Nigeria have released 10 more students earlier abducted from a school in Kaduna state in the northwest part of the country.

The victims have been in captivity for two months now and some others are yet to regain their freedom.
