US and EU agree truce on Airbus-Boeing dispute

The United States and the European Union have agreed to a five-year truce in their 17-year dispute over airline subsidies. 

The dispute saw allies impose tariffs worth $11.5 billion of each other's exports.

Putin backs prisoner swap with US ahead of summit with Biden

On the eve of the summit between the American and Russian leaders, Vladimir Putin has renewed an offer to swap prisoners with the US. President Biden pledged to press Moscow on the fate of the Americans convicted in Russia, as well as the case of the jailed Russian opposition politician Alexey Navalny when he meets his Russian counterpart for talks in Switzerland on Wednesday. The Geneva summit comes after several years of crisis in Russia's relations with the US, which both Presidents agreed were at "the lowest point in recent years."
