ECOWAS suspends Mali over second coup


Leaders of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS have suspended Mali from the regional bloc. It's in response to the second take over by the junta Colonel Assimi Goita. The West African leaders have also called for a new civilian Prime Minister to be selected immediately.

France opens up vaccine campaign to all adults over 18

France has opened its Covid-19 vaccination roll-out to all adults over the age of 18. 

From Monday, any French adult can be vaccinated without needing to prove a pre-existing medical condition. 

Those aged 18-49 were marked as the last group in the French vaccination queue.

Ryanair flight makes emergency landing following reported of bomb threat

UN Security Council extends arms embargo on South Sudan
