Blinken pledges to rally support for rebuilding of Gaza

UK government issues new Covid-19 advice to eight areas worst impacted by variant first found in India

New advisory measures have been given to 8 areas in the UK where the Coronavirus variant first discovered in India is spreading fastest.


The government's advice was issued without an official announcement on Friday and urges people in those areas to be 'extra cautious'.


It's thought that the variant known as B.1.617.2 is more transmissible than others and could damage the UK's path out of lockdown.

Indian police raids Twitter office in Delhi
