George Floyd's girlfriend has added to the emotional testimonies that have been heard at Derek Chauvin's trial for Floyd's murder.

Other prosecution witnesses who took to the stand on the fourth day of the trial included Chauvin's former Minneapolis Police Department supervisor.

AU calls for urgent action after Mozambique jihadist attack

FRANCE PREPARES FOR NEW LOCKDOWN

An exodus from French cities is expected over the coming days ahead of a new covid-19 lockdown for the country.

Japan announces new coronavirus measures as country faces fourth wave

Australia – Major music festival cancelled 24 hours before opening.

One of the worlds most celebrated music festivals, the Byron Bay Blues Festival on the far north coast of New South Wales has been cancelled for the second year in a row, after a locally transmitted case of covid 19 was discovered on Tuesday.
