The organisers of Eurovision say the song submitted by Belarus must be amended — or a new song selected — after deciding it "puts the non-political nature of the Contest in question".

The international song competition pits European countries against each other, and entrants must sing an original song.

But the Belrusian entry has a chorus which makes fun of the political opposition and citizens protesting against the government.

Judge reinstates third-degree murder charge in trial of Derek Chauvin

EU extends export controls until the end of June
