EU and UK in fresh row over vaccine nationalism

A row over vaccine nationalism has been reignited between the United Kingdom and the European Union, after the bloc accused London of 'export bans.' 

The remark from EU Council President Charles Michel prompted anger from the UK government, which insisted it not blocked the export of a single coronavirus vaccine.

French prime minister to hold meeting on rising youth violence

The French prime minister will hold a meeting with ministers on March 12 to discuss the wave of rising teenage violence.

Two 15-year-olds remain in police custody in connection with the latest fatality - a 14-year-old girl who was found dead in the River Seine in Paris on March 8.

Europe "likely" to approve Sputnik V vaccine: German official

One of Germany's leading vaccine experts has said he expects the Russian-made Sputnik V vaccine will be approved in Europe. 

The comments will be a shot in the arm for Sputnik V, which has faced an uphill battle convincing Western Europe the vaccine is effective in stopping Covid-19.

ROYAL FAMILY TAKING RACE ISSUES 'SERIOUSLY'

The UK government is refusing to be drawn on whether the Royal Family should go further in addressing race issues.

DRC SENTENCES 16
