Biden refuses to lift Iran sanctions

US President Joe Biden says America will not lift sanctions or
consider a return to the Iran nuclear deal until Tehran halts uranium
enrichment.

Iran however says it will only comply if the US lifts sanctions first.

Astra Zeneca Vaccine Less Effective Against SA Mutation

South Africa has announced it's pausing the rollout of the AstraZeneca Coronavirus vaccine, after concerns were raised about its efficacy.

 

A new study has found the vaccine is less effective against the strain of the virus first identified in the country... that is now widespread throughout southern Africa.

 

It comes as UK scientists warned people they might need yearly jabs to control the Coronavirus.

Unidentified Disease Kills 15 in Tanzania

Health officials in Tanzania say at least fifteen people died and more than 50 others have been hospitalized in the south of the country due to an unidentified infection that has caused many to experience nausea and vomit blood.

Tanzania and Burundi are excluded from the African countries set to receive COVID-19 vaccine after the World Health Organization (WHO) announced plans for the vaccine rollout.

In unprecedented move, Biden won't permit Trump to continue receiving intelligence briefings

President Biden says he will not permit former President Donald Trump to continue receiving intelligence briefings from US government officials, accusing him of "erratic behavior".


By tradition, former Presidents are eligible to continue receiving intelligence briefings for the rest of their lives.

Trudeau defends Canada's vaccine rollout

The Australian state of Victoria has passed legislation to ban LGBTIQ+
conversion therapy within the state.

Ethicists speak out against early freedoms for vaccine recipients
