RUSSIA STARTS MASS VACCINATION AT COSMONAUT CENTRE

Russia's cosmonaut training centre is offering all its employees Russia's homemade Sputnik V vaccine for Covid-19.

The Yuri Gagarin Training Centre says it's prioritising the vaccination of employees who are in close contact with crews preparing for space flight.

It comes as the maker of the vaccine reports a million people have been vaccinated in Russia, and 1.5 million around the world.

Australia – Vaccine efficacy questioned

Debate continues in Australia over the efficacy of the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine.

The Australian and New Zealand Society for Immunology wants the strategy re-examined, concerned that the AstraZeneca shot may not be able to guarantee herd immunity, although Australia's Chief Medical Officer says there are benefits to the vaccine, and they are waiting on the full data on its effectiveness.

China Records Biggest Jump in COVID-19 Infections in Five Months

California Gorillas Test Positive for Coronavirus

Democrats step up efforts to remove Trump as more violent plots surface
