US stocks up ahead of Georgia runoff elections, manufacturing data

US stocks are climbing ahead of two run-off elections in Georgia that may determine who controls the US Senate.


But US indices also got a boost from upbeat manufacturing data while Chinese listed companies bounced back after the New York Stock Exchange changed its mind about a decision to delist.

Pro-Trump protestors fill Washington ahead of joint session of US Congress

Venezuela's Maduro Consolidates Power

Covid-19 lockdown begins again in parts of UK

People across much of the UK must now stay at home under new coronavirus restrictions, starting Tuesday, following a rapid rise in coronavirus cases.
