At least 16 people have been killed in an outbreak of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh [PRON: nuh-GOR-nuh karra-BAKH], a territory disputed by Armenia and Azerbaijan. The area is a corridor for oil and gas pipelines and is of strategic importance to both Turkey and Russia. Julia Chapman reports.

Another African Swine Fever case hits Germany

There's been another case of African Swine Fever found over the weekend in Germany, with authorities concerned the disease could soon spread from wild boars to farm pigs. Hong Kong's online media condemn government registration system

An alliance of online media outlets in Hong Kong is accusing the police of trying to divide the city's journalists, by requiring them to register their operations with the government. Ethiopia charges 2000 for June protest

Police officer shot dead in London

A police officer has been killed in south London by a man who was being detained at a custody centre.
