India crosses 5.2 million COVID cases

India recorded more than 96,000 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the country's total caseload to over 5.2 million.

India is the second country in the world to pass the 5 million mark, after the United States.

Lukashenko closes borders of Belarus with West

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has announced the closure of the country's borders with Lithuania and Poland, as well as strengthening controls on the border with Ukraine. The president said half of the country's army would guard frontiers in the West. Julia Chapman has more.

China Responds to Taiwan Visit By US Official

Untraceable virus cases in S. Korea reach new high

South Korean health authorities say the number of coronavirus cases with unidentified transmission routes has reached a new high in the country. They say over the past two weeks, they've been unable to track the source of more than 26 percent of positive tests.

Former Pence adviser announces intention to vote for Biden

DRC Prisoners Starve to Death
