US agency buries Russian campaign to discredit Biden health

The US government withheld information about a Russian campaign to
push allegations that US presidential hopeful Joe Biden is in "poor
mental health".

That's according to documents obtained by US media.

LOCAL COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS REMAIN FOR PARTS OF NORTHERN ENGLAND

UK government considers quarantine measures in England on arrivals from Greece and Portugal

Tui, the largest travel company in the world, has cancelled holidays to the resort of Laganas on the Greek island Zante because customers were failing to follow coronavirus safety measures. 


The Anglo-German firm's decision comes after half a dozen clusters of cases were linked to flights from the island.


Tui halting trips to Zante coincides with growing pressure on the British government to reconsider England's quarantine rules for Greece.

Uganda COVID-19 lab locked Over Tenancy Disagreement

QUARANTINE MEASURES IMPOSED ON GREEK ARRIVALS

The UK government is considering imposing quarantine on arrivals from Greece, after several clusters of cases linked to the island of Zante.

Scotland and Wales have already introduced measures for people returning from Greece.

And travel company TUI has cancelled holidays to a party resort on Zante, saying customers there are not following coronavirus safety advice.

The UK is also considering whether to remove Portugal from its quarantine exemption list - after a rise in cases there.

Fourteen people stand trial over Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris

Fourteen people are standing trial in France, over a terror attack on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in which 12 people were shot dead. A further three people were killed at a Jewish supermarket.


The attack happened more than five years ago- the defendants are accused of assisting the militant Islamist perpetrators.

Facebook Takes Down Accounts Run by Russian Operatives

Facebook says it has taken down a network of fake accounts and pages associated with Russian operatives, trying to influence the US election. Twitter has also announced  it has suspended five accounts related to the operation.

Trump to visit Kenosha despite calls not to
