Belarus President Lukashenko turning to Russia

Troubled Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has spoken to Russia's leader Vladimir Putin for the third time in ten days, amid mass protests against his rule. Tens of thousands of people flooded the streets of the Belarusian capital Minsk at the weekend, two weeks after Lukashenko declared victory in elections his opponents say were rigged. Many people feared still trapped in building collapse in Indian state of Maharashtra

Tik Tok Sues U.S. government Over Ban

The video-sharing application TikTok has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. government over the Trump administration's order to shut down its American operations next month.


Tik Tok, which is owned by the Chinese company ByteDance, said the ban was politically motivated.

UK GOVT URGES CHILDREN BACK TO SCHOOL

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson says life chances for a generation of children will be harmed if they don't return to school in September.

The UK's four chief medical officers have also all signed a letter insisting schools are safe for children despite the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.
