Insecurity in Nigeria: Gunmen attack Kogi village, kill 14



Unknown gunmen have killed 14 people in Kogi state while injuring others. Insecurity in the north has increased recently despite government's claims of tackling it effectively.

ENGLAND TO INCREASE SELF-ISOLATION PERIOD

England is expected to increase its virus isolation period from seven to ten days.

That's for how long people have to self-isolate if they develop symptoms.

DRC Rebels Jailed

A military court in the Democratic Republic of Congo has sentenced 15 militia members to 20 years in prison for participating in an insurrection group.

Uganda's Famous Gorilla Killer Sentenced to 11 Years

Hong Kong police arrest student activists

Coronavirus deaths in the US pass 150,000, the worst in the world

The coronavirus death toll in the United States has topped 150,000 with the country leading the globe in the number of cases and fatalities.

The milestone comes on the heels of the US hitting four-million confirmed infections, doubling its total case count in six weeks.

US stocks climb on fed decision, tech gains

The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 160 points Wednesday, as the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged.

Federal Reserve keeps interest rates steady

Federal Agents to Being Phased Withdrawal from Portland

Federal agents who have clashed with protesters in Portland, Oregon, will begin a "phased withdrawal" from the city.

DRC Soldiers Killed

Russia could produce two coronavirus vaccines by the autumn
