UK TACKLES MORE THAN 100 LOCAL COVID-19 OUTBREAKS A WEEK

The UK Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, says "targeted action" is being taken to combat more than 100 local outbreaks of coronavirus every week.

It's already happened in several parts of England - at a hospital near Bristol, meat factories in Yorkshire, and now a farm near Birmingham.

With a targeted approach, Mr Hancock says further steps can be taken to lift the national lockdown.

Manchester City -- accused of breaking financial rules -- successfully overturn two-year ban from European competition on appeal

Four-time Premier League winners Manchester City FC have overturned a two-year ban from European club competitions.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport announced the club have been cleared of "disguising equity funds as sponsorship contributions," though they will still be required to pay a €10m fine, reduced from €30m. 

The Union of European Football Associations issued the ban in February after ruling Man City had committed "serious breaches" of Financial Fair Play regulations.

UK RELAXES QUARANTINE REQUIREMENT FOR ARRIVALS

From today, quarantine rules are no longer in place for people travelling to England, Wales and Northern Ireland from more than 75 countries and territories.
