Ugandan Police Arrest Over 100 Suspected Allied Democratic Forces Recruits

Ugandan police have raided a suspected terror cell belonging to the  Allied Democratic Forces or ADF in the central district of Mpigi.

Over 100 suspected rebels attached to the  ADF militia group were arrested and are now in Police custody.

The ADF terrorist group that has its roots in Western Uganda is now operating in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.

£1.5BN UK THEATRE BAILOUT

The UK government's announced a £1.57 ($2bn) bail-out for the theatre and cultural sector.

It's designed to support key performing arts venues and jobs.

Theatres remain closed due to coronavirus restrictions, with the government expected to publish new guidance soon about when performances might be allowed to resume.

US coronavirus cases continue to surge

Foreign exhibitors at Tanzania's leading trade fair fall over COVID-19

The Tanzanian government has revealed that the number of foreign exhibitors to Tanzania's 44th Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair has dropped sharply from last year's 580 to 43 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

England’s quarantine-free list of countries finally revealed

The full list of countries people from England can visit without needing to quarantine upon returning has been published for the first time.


From July 10th, passengers arriving directly from the listed countries and territories will not be required to self-isolate when back in England.


Until then, most travellers to the UK will have to self-isolate for two weeks.

UK CONFIRMS QUARANTINE-FREE 'AIR BRIDGES'

The UK has confirmed 'air bridges' will be in place in a week's time, allowing quarantine free travel to England.
