Australia: Concern about Covid hoax claims as cases continue to rise

In Australia, Victorian State Health Minister Jenny Mikakos says more than 10,000 people have declined to be tested from 180,000 tests across the state. as positive covid 19 cases continue to climb.

US Lawmakers approve Hong Kong Autonomy Act

Gains on Wall Street following stronger than expected jobs numbers

The major U.S. indexes notched healthy gains Thursday following the
release of better-than-expected jobs numbers.

The U.S. economy added 4.8 million jobs in June but there are fears
that a spike in Covid-19 infections could slow this positive momentum.

Hundreds arrested as Europe-wide crime communications system cracked


A top-secret communications system used by criminals to trade drugs and arms has been "successfully penetrated," after messages on the encrypted service EncroChat were intercepted and decoded.

The UK's National Crime Agency says more than two tonnes of narcotics, several dozen guns and almost $70m in suspect cash have been seized, and 746 arrests were made.

UK to announce new travel quarantine rules

Dozens of countries are expected to be exempt from the UK's travel quarantine from Monday. 


Currently, most people arriving into the UK from anywhere apart from the Republic of Ireland have to self-isolate for two weeks.


Now, government sources indicate that a "very long list" of states deemed low risk is likely to be published by the end of this week.
