UK government borrowing hits record high

UK government borrowing has hit a record monthly high, as the coronavirus and the lockdown continue to affect the country's finances. 


The £55.2bn ($68.5bn) figure was nine times higher than in May last year and the highest since records began in 1993.

Choppy trading on Wall Street as traders eye Covid-19 spikes

It was a choppy day of trading on Wall Street Thursday as a rise in
Covid-19 infections in the U.S. continues to rattle investor
confidence.

Traders were also digesting news that a further 1.5 million Americans
filed for unemployment benefits for the first time last week.

Last Surviving Sibling of JFK dies at 92

Trump hit with another Supreme Court blow - this time over immigration

The White House has been dealt a second major blow in a week by the U.S. Supreme Court, which has rejected efforts by President Donald Trump to end legal protections for 650,000 young immigrants.

Had the ruling gone the other way, many of those children would have been deported.

Uganda Drug Authority Warns Against Dexamethasone
