Second Degree Murder Charges in George Floyd Case

The Minnesota Attorney General's office is upgrading the charges against one former police officer involved in the death of George Floyd…and bringing new charges against three others. 

The officers can be seen in a widely viewed video ...one of them with his knee in Floyd's neck, before Floyd died.

Reports: Military sent to DC protests pulling out

Active duty U.S. military troops, brought to Washington DC to deal

Fuel Prices Drop to a Record Low in Tanzania

Tanzania's  Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority has announced that the retail and wholesale prices for the petroleum products, imported through Dar es Salaam port, for June have dropped compared to prices recorded in May 2020.

Belgium to enter a 'new normal' as it loosens lockdown from June 8th

Belgium is set to reopen hotels, bars and restaurants from next week as it continues to loosen its coronavirus lockdown.

Trump administration to bar Chinese passenger airlines from flying to U.S.


The Trump administration says it will ban Chinese passenger airlines from flying to the U.S. later this month.

The U.S. Department of Transportation says the decision is in retaliation against China barring U.S. airlines.

US Defense Secretary breaks with Trump over use of military on American streets

US Defense Secretary Mark Esper says he opposes the use a 19th century law to deploy American troops onto the streets of the country's cities.

Calmer streets in NYC on second night of curfew

200 hundred people were arrested in New York City on Tuesday night
after protestors ignored a curfew to demonstrate against the death of

Tensions high after another night of U.S. protests

UK SETS OUT QUARANTINE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVELLERS

AUSTRALIA: Nation falls into recession - but Treasurer lauds the result

Australia's Treasurer Josh Frydenberg says the economic downturn which was caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has pushed Australia into recession.
The latest data shows the Australian economy contracted by point-3 of a per cent in the March quarter, and a worse result is expected next quarter.
Josh Frydenberg says measures to slow the spread of coronavirus have caused most problems, but bushfires and drought didn't help.
Even so, he has defended Australia's fiscal performance and compared it with other economies around the world.

Coronavirus fears in S. Korea shift back to churches amid new infections

Mumbai is braced for Cyclone Nisarga, which is expected to make landfall on Wednesday and would be the first cyclone to hit India's financial capital in more than a century.
