UK to launch hi-tech testing and tracing scheme to tackle coronavirus
The British government is launching a testing and tracing program that ministers hope will finally see Britain get a grip on the spread of coronavirus.
The UK's Health Secretary Matt Hancock is unveiling plans for a South Korean-style "test, track and trace" scheme designed to hunt down every fresh outbreak of the disease and prevent a second peak.

AUSTRALIA: CSIRO denies COVID research with Wuhan Institute of Virology
The call from a member of the government follows claims by Sydney's Daily Telegraph that the CSIRO's bio-containment facility at Geelong in Victoria, has been engaging in research, jointly funded by the Australian and Chinese governments, in conjunction with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

European leaders have pledged to raise billions of pounds to help find a vaccine and treatments for COVID-19.
An online conference is being held on Monday aiming to raise £6.6bn in funding, to support the "international alliance" developing a response to the pandemic.
The conference is being co-hosted by the European Commission and other countries including Britain, Canada and France.
