Oil prices fall into negative territory for first time ever

U.S. crude oil futures fell into negative territory for the first time
in history as Covid-19 has stunted global demand.

The price of West Texas Intermediate crude for May's delivery closed
Monday at nearly negative 38 dollars per barrel. That price means
producers would need to pay buyers to offload it.

Some European countries are set to ease lockdown measures this week, while the UK has indicated there are no plans to relax restrictions. 

From Monday Germany will allow the reopening of smaller shops, with authorities saying the pandemic is "under control and manageable."

EU finance chief warns of long road to economic recovery

European will need to find another half a trillion euros to finance the economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the head of the eurozone's bailout fund. 

Last week, EU finance ministers agreed a three-part rescue package worth €540 billion with EU leaders due to meet on Thursday to finalise its terms.
