Ugandan President Releases Exercise Video

Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni has released an indoor exercise video of himself showing Ugandans how to workout in small spaces.

This follows a ban on outdoor exercises after groups of people were seen jogging on the roads despite the coronavirus lockdown.

Tsai Ing-wen Invites WHO Chief to Taiwan

Taiwan's President has invited the head of the WHO for a visit to come and see how it's handling the coronavirus outbreak there.

New daily infections of Covid-19 in S. Korea surging downward

South Korea once had the second most cases of Covid-19 in the world. But their latest daily tally is just 27 new infections, a record low for the country that once recorded more than 900 cases in a single day.

Trump says Mass Coronavirus Testing Not Necessary to Reopen Economy

President Trump has said nationwide testing for the coronavirus is "not necessary" before reopening the US economy.

Speaking at the daily briefing of the coronavirus taskforce, he also said the US has passed the 2 million milestone for the number of coronavirus tests conducted.

UK PM LEAVES INTENSIVE CARE

UK prime minister, Boris Johnson, has left intensive care and has returned to his hospital ward.

He remains under close observation at St Thomas' hospital in London.

But in a statement, Downing Street said he's "in extremely good spirits".

It comes as the UK government announced 881 deaths, bringing the total to 8000.

Renewed hope in Spain as European countries plan exit strategy

Spain has reported a drop in its death toll, which has renewed hopes that the epidemic is levelling off. 

Italy has also seen its daily death toll fall after putting in place a country-wide lockdown in early March.

Federal Reserve to roll out $2.3 trillion in loans to boost U.S. economy

Football players in England launch initiative to help NHS

Ugandan University Develops Low Cost Ventilator

Sailors Making Masks from T-shirts

Sailors on board the aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt are reportedly disinfecting it with minimal protective equipment.

According to a report in the San Francisco Chronicle, multiple family members of the sailors onboard say face masks have not been widely distributed.
