Uganda Registers COVID-19 Cases Rise to 52

Intro;

Uganda's COVID-19 cases have risen to 52 after 4 more cases were confirmed.

 

The Ministry of Health in Uganda says the new cases were in quarantine at the time of test and did not show any signs and symptoms of the coronavirus.

Another passenger from the Ruby Princess cruise ship has died of the coronavirus, bringing the total death toll from the ship to 12, almost a third of the entire deaths from COVID-19 in Australia.
As Arthur Stevens reports, the news comes as the ship is berthed at Port Kembla in Australia's Illawarra region south of Sydney.

US sheds jobs in March, first decline in decade

Spain overtakes Italy as world's second worst affected country for COVID-19

Spain has now surpassed Italy to become the second worst impacted country by the coronavirus, after the US. 

Spain has reported over 117,000 cases on Friday, with a death toll of over 10,000.
