Uganda Shuts Down Schools Over Fears of Coronavirus

Uganda's President has ordered the closure of schools and Universities starting Friday. 

 

It's the latest measure being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Uganda still has no confirmed case of the coronavirus, despite the virus being present in neighboring countries.

Russian ruble falls to five-year low

Financial Markets Reeling

TANZANIA REPORTS 2 MORE COVID-19 CASES, RAISING THE NUMBER TO A TOTAL OF 3

Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa says the two patients are both foreign nationals. The patients are a 24-year-old German and a  61-year-old American man. One case was confirmed in Dar es Salaam and one in Zanzibar. The country's first case was reported on Monday.

Belgium becomes latest European country to impose lockdown measures

Belgium has become the latest European country to impose a national lockdown to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

Coronavirus patients update and precautionary measures taken in India

The Indian government has been accused of not testing enough people for coronavirus.

In a country of over 1.3 billion people, only 11,000 tests have been conducted.
