U.S. stocks tumble again and set for worst week since 2018

U.S. stocks are on course to post their worst weekly performance since
the 2008 financial crisis.

The Dow Jones was down over two percent by midday trading on Friday, a
day after the three major U.S. indexes closed in corrective territory.

As the Covid-19 coronavirus continues to spread outside of China there
are growing investor fears among investors about the impact this
outbreak could have on the global economy.

Pompeo defends killing Iranian commander Soleimani

NATO calls for peaceful solution after Idlib airstrike kills 33 Turkish soldiers

NATO allies have met in Brussels for an emergency meeting following a deadly airstrike in northwestern Syria in which at least 33 Turkish soldiers were killed.

British man dies of coronavirus

A British man has died after being infected with coronavirus in Japan, according to the country's health ministry. 

 

He is the first Briton to die from the virus. 

 

The UK Foreign Office says it's investigating the reports of his death.

NATO Secretary General says crisis in Idlib being 'closely monitored' following airstrike on Turkish soldiers

NATO allies have met in Brussels for an emergency meeting following a deadly airstrike in Syria.

Uganda Rules Out Evacuating Students Living in Wuhan

Parents of Ugandan students living in Wuhan have criticized the government for refusing to evacuate them.

Markets in Europe plummeted again on Friday, with London's FTSE 100 index sinking more than 3%. Asian and US markets also saw sharp declines, with American tech giants Apple and Microsoft claiming their business will be affected.

UK threatens to walk away from EU trade talks and wants sovereignty guaranteed
