MEPs approve deal for UK to leave the European Union

Members of the European Parliament have overwhelmingly backed the terms of Britain's departure from the EU. 

MEPs backed the agreement by 621 to 49, following an emotional debate in Parliament lasting more than two hours.

President Trump Signs USMCA

US President Trump has signed a revamped trade agreement with Canada and Mexico into law. 

The revised treaty replaces the 26 year old North American Free Trade Agreement.

White House attempts to block publication of Bolton book

The White House is trying to head off the publication of a memoir by former National Security Adviser John Bolton, saying the manuscript contains "significant amounts of classified information".


The move came just hours after President Trump launched a brutal social media attack on his former 

colleague.

Putin pardons Israeli-American backpacker

Chartered Jet Carrying Americans from China Lands in U.S.


A chartered plane carrying more than 200 U.S. citizens from China landed in California Wednesday,  after all of its passengers underwent rigorous health screening in Alaska overnight. All of them, cleared of the deadly coronavirus, which has now affected nearly 6,000 people.  It comes as more foreign governments look to airlift their citizens out of Wuhan, the epicenter of the illness.

French plane heads to Wuhan to evacuate EU citizens

France is sending a plane on Wednesday to evacuate several hundred of its citizens from Wuhan, along with dozens from other EU countries.

Coronavirus Evacuations Begin in China

BA SUSPENDS FLIGHTS TO AND FROM CHINA

Germany confirms three new coronavirus infections

Germany's health ministry said three more people in the country have the coronavirus, bringing the total to four.


The news comes as the country prepares for the evacuation of around ninety German nationals from China.

Russian regions close borders to China
