Uber co-founder to leave board of directors

DRC REBELS CALL FOR CEASEFIRE

A number of armed groups in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo have called for a ceasefire. The commanders of the rebel groups issued a statement to Congolese authorities saying they will cease hostilities on the 23rd of December. Eastern DRC has been plagued by conflict for decades. Their call comes in the wake of a military offensive by Congolese troops and UN peacekeepers.

Fight over Nord Stream 2 heats up

German politicians are hitting back at US sanctions meant to scuttle construction on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project. Twitter Launches One of its Largest Single Crackdowns on State-Backed Accounts

Germany Places Restrictions on Uber
