TANZANIA STARTS USING NEW HIV DRUG

Tanzania has started using Dolutegravir 'DGT', which is a new and considered most effective drug in suppressing HIV/Aids in the human body.

The DTG medicine is used with a mix of drugs namely, Tenofovir 300mg/, lamivudine 300mg/ and dolutegravir 50mg (in short TLD).

Russia to file lawsuits at Court of Arbitration for Sport to challenge ban over doping

Russia says it will file lawsuits with the Court of Arbitration for Sport to challenge the wide-ranging sanctions imposed by the World Anti-Doping Agency.

On Monday, the agency decided to endorse a four-year global sports ban on Russia for non-compliance with doping rules and the manipulation of data.

Saudi nationals no-fly in US following mass shooting

More than 850 Saudi aviation students at US bases have been banned
from flying following last week's mass shooting by a Saudi national.

Mohammed Alshamrani killed three sailors at a base in Pensacola,
Florida on Friday before being shot dead by police.

FAA saw risks prior to Boeing 737 MAX crash

Time Magazine Announces Greta Thunberg as its 'Person of the Year'

Polls tighten in UK election as party leaders race to final hurdle

The race for the keys to Downing Street has tightened significantly, in the final stage of campaigning in the UK general election.

According to the latest poll, the Conservative party is on course to win twenty more seats than it did in 2017.
But a hung parliament hasn't been ruled out, when no party commands a majority.

Jersey City shooting investigated as antisemitic attack

Investigators say a shooting in the US state of New Jersey was a
targeted attack on the Jewish community and police.

Six people were killed during the incident at a shop in Jersey City on Tuesday.

Pompeo and Lavrov Clash at Press Conference

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Russia's Foreign Minister  Sergei Lavrov clashed publicly in a joint press conference after meeting behind closed doors at the State Department. 

The exchange happened just before Lavrov's scheduled meeting with President Trump at the White House… where the three leaders were to speak about a wide range of issues including arms control,  Ukraine, the war in Syria,  and Venezuela..

One Officer, Multiple Others Killed in New Jersey ‘Ambush’

US Secretary of State warns Russia against interfering in US affairs

The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and the Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov have held talks in Washington, with the top US diplomat warning his Russian counterpart that meddling in US affairs is "unacceptable".

Deal reached on North American free trade deal

Mexico's President has announced that his country has reached a deal
with the U.S. and Canada on a free trade agreement.
