Elon Musk's defamation trial begins over "pedo guy" tweet

Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, is set to go on trial Tuesday for accusing a British diving specialist of being a paedophile.  Vern Unsworth sued the billionaire businessman for defamation, after Musk described the diver as a "pedo guy", without any evidence, in a twitter spat last year.

Russian investigators recommend trial for Khachaturyan sisters

France fires back over digital tax after Trump threatens tariffs

The French finance minister has hit back over tariffs threatened by the US - saying France will impose reciprocal duties on American products. 

On Monday, US trade authorities announced they could impose 100 per cent tariffs on products including wine and cheese, in retaliation against France's new tax on digital services.

UK URGES NATO UNITY AT 70TH ANNIVERSARY

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson is urging NATO member states to show unity as the military alliance meets to mark its 70th anniversary.

The summit in and around the British capital comes after a row between France and Turkey over the Turkish military incursion in northern Syria.

Donald Trump set to arrive at two-day NATO summit in London

The US President Donald Trump will be arriving in London on Monday evening for two days of meetings with NATO leaders, as the alliance marks its 70th year. 

Mr Trump will meet the Queen at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, before joining world leaders in Watford the following day. 

The visit comes ten days before the UK goes to the polls in a winter general election.
