S. Koreans sit for highly competitive college entrance exams

Around a half million South Korean high school students sat for college entrance exams on Thursday. A high score, they believe, is the only way to a good university and a successful career.

North Korea threatens retaliation over US-South Korea military drills

North Korea has announced it has the right to retaliate if the U.S.
and South Korea proceed with scheduled military drills.

Pyongyang also warns that the U.S. face "a bigger threat and harsh
suffering" if it ignores an end of year deadline to change tact on
nuclear negotiations.

US President praises Turkish leader despite recent tensions over Syria

Impeachment inquiry: "crazy" to withhold Ukraine aid

The acting U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine has told the first public

Russian airline strips 'fat cat smuggler' of air miles

Aeroflot says it has stripped a passenger of his air miles for breaching rules by sneaking his overweight cat onboard.

Trump and Erdogan to meet at White House

TANZANIA PARLIAMENT PASSES BILL TO ALLOW HIV SELF TESTING

Members of Parliament passed the amendments of the HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control Act, 2019 which was tabled in parliament under the Written Laws Miscellaneous Amendment Bill 2019


The new law allows 15 years old children to perform  HIV/AIDS self-testing but the health minister insists the process should be voluntary.

Russia widening patrol areas in northern Syria

Russia is expanding the areas that it is patrolling in north-eastern Syria.

Unrest Swells in Hong Kong for Third Day
