House votes to formalise Trump impeachment investigation


The US House of Representatives has formalized its impeachment inquiry into President Trump by a vote on Thursday of 232 to 196.

The impeachment process was triggered by a phone call between Trump and Ukraine's President back in July.

A summary of the call appeared to show Trump pressuring the Ukrainian leader to investigate his political rival Joe Biden

PSA group and FIAT Chrysler pursue merger

UN & Syrian Constitutional Committee participants on historic talks


For the first time in Syria's eight-year conflict, the country has embarked on what may be a historic moment as opposing sides negotiate a new constitution. 

One hundred and fifty Syrians representing the Syrian government, opposition groups and civil society met face-to-face in Geneva at UN-backed talks to discuss their future 

UN Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen urged participants of this newly-formed Syrian Constitutional Committee to seize this opportunity for the sake of the Syrian people.

US Fed cuts rates for third time in four months
