Donald Tusk calls for Brexit extension

Burundi Security Say 14 Armed Men from DRC killed.

France open to a "short, technical" Brexit extension, says minister

France is open to a technical Brexit extension of « several days » but not to any rediscussion of the actual deal, says the country's Europe minister.

Amelie de Montchalin was speaking after EU Council President Donald Tusk said he would seek approval from the 27 countries for a three month extension, as requested by the British government.

The UK government is waiting to hear from the European Union what length of Brexit delay it will give it.

It follows a defeat for the timetable Boris Johnson wanted to push his Brexit legislation through Parliament.

Syrian refugee arrivals to Iraq pass 7,000 mark in seven days - UN


More than seven thousand refugees have fled fighting in northeast Syria into neighbouring Iraq in the past week, per latest figures from the United Nations refugee agency. 


The majority of the refugees are women and children.

Russia and Turkey hail ‘historic agreement’

Facebook CEO to Testify on Cryptocurrency

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is set to testify in Washington on Wednesday, about his company's planned move into cryptocurrency. He's expected to say he supports delaying the launch of Facebook's cryptocurrency Libra until the company can address regulatory concerns.

UK PM PAUSES BREXIT BILL FOLLOWING COMMONS DEFEAT

UK MPs have dealt a fresh blow to Boris Johnson by rejecting his plan to fast-track his Brexit deal through parliament.
