Tanzania to begin local Industrial Sugar production

Tanzania's sugar board says it will start producing industrial sugar in the coming 21 months bringing hope to consumers of the product that they will finally source the product locally.

President Trump threatens sanctions if Turkey doesn't 'play by the rules'

Trade negotiators for the China lead Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership or RCEP will meet this week for talks aimed at completing the regional free trade zone. The pact looks to establish a free trade zone across 16 countries in the Asia Pacific region. India's Commerce ministry says it is actively looking at participating in the deal.

First tiger in the world to get a prosthetic paw

A tiger in Western India will become the first in the world to receive a prosthetic paw.

The tiger - Saheb Rao - had to go through an amputation after being caught in a poacher's trap in the state of Maharashtra.

French interior minister admits signals missed in police terror attack

The French interior minister Christophe Castaner has told a Senate hearing the man who killed four police officers at Paris' central police station a week ago should have been flagged up as radicalized years ago.

Mickael Harpon had worked in IT at the police station since 2003, and converted to Islam around a decade ago.

British Islamic State Fighters Moved To US Custody

Two British men who joined the so-called Islamic State and were dubbed 'The Beatles' have been taken into US custody, following instability in northern Syria.


The men were believed to be part of a terrorist cell which kidnapped and murdered western hostages in Syria.

UK's Boris Johnson and Ireland's Leo Varadkar to meet to discuss Brexit

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Irish counterpart Leo Varadkar are meeting for talks to discuss the UK's Brexit proposals.

Ukrainian leader says President Trump did not blackmail him

German Synagogue Attacker May Have Posted Manifesto Online

For first time, Biden calls for Trump to be impeached
