High onion prices in India have citizen's tearing up

Onions are a kitchen essential in India. But people are crying even before they chop them. 

Reason being, that onion prices have more than doubled in some Indian cities due to a shortage in supply.

Thomas Cook holidaymakers now able to leave Cuba

The collapse of British tour operator Thomas Cook is causing ripples around the world.

 

The UK's Civil Aviation Authority has announced that tourists and flight crew are now able to leave Cuba, after holidaymakers said they were prevented from leaving their hotels or asked to pay for their rooms.

AUSTRALIA: Cannabis to become legal for personal use in Canberra

Possessing and growing cannabis for personal use will be legal in Australia's capital Canberra next year.
The Australian Capital Territory will become the first state or territory in Australia to allow cannabis use, with residents over 18 permitted to possess up to 50 grams and grow two plants.

Germany to bail out Thomas Cook subsidiary Condor

The German government plans to loan Condor airlines four hundred twenty million dollars after its British parent company Thomas Cook became insolvent earlier this week.

Refugees From Libya to Arrive Rwanda this Week

VW executives charged with stock market manipulation over emissions scandal
