FAA updating regulators on Boeing 737 MAX overhaul

The chief of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration is due to update international air regulators on the overhaul of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which was grounded after two fatal crashes.

Representatives from about 50 nations will attend Monday's closed-door briefing to swap concerns about the US manufacturer's proposed software fixes and new pilot training.

UN pressures world leaders at climate summit

Indian man gets lynched over cow slaughter allegations

Three men have been attacked in India's eastern state of Jharkhand for allegedly slaughtering a cow.

British tourists to be returned home after Thomas Cook collapse

150 Thousand British tourists are being brought home from their holidays after the collapse of the well-known UK travel group Thomas Cook.

 

The biggest repatriation of Brits in peacetime is taking place after last-minute negotiations to save the company failed, forcing Thomas Cook to cease trading with immediate effect.

Climate activists march in New York
