Modi, Trump wow Indian Americans in Texas

The Howdy Modi event in Houston Texas on Sunday saw over 50,000 members of the Indian diaspora converge in support of Prime Minister Modi.

In what Mr.Modi called a special gesture, he was joined at the event by President Donald Trump.

Indian man gets lynched over cow slaughter allegations

Three men have been attacked in India's eastern state of Jharkhand for allegedly slaughtering a cow.

Cows are considered sacred by Hindus and killing the animal or serving beef is banned in several states.

British tourists to be returned home after Thomas Cook collapse

150 Thousand British tourists are being brought home from their holidays after the collapse of the well-known UK travel group Thomas Cook.

 

The biggest repatriation of Brits in peacetime is taking place after last-minute negotiations to save the company failed, forcing Thomas Cook to cease trading with immediate effect.

Ukraine denies pressure from Donald Trump
