ACCUSER: PRINCE ANDREW SHOULD 'COME CLEAN'

Prince Andrew is being urged to 'come clean' by a woman who claims she was forced to have sex with him at the age of 17.

Virginia Giuffre was speaking after a hearing for alleged victims of the financier Jeffrey Epstein who killed himself in prison earlier this month.

Ms Giuffre accuses Mr Epstein of sexual abuse and told reporters Prince Andrew 'knows what he's done'.

The Duke of York has always denied the claims, but released a statement this month admitting it was a 'mistake and an error' to see Jeffrey Epstein after he was released from prison.

Virginia Giuffre's lawyer David Boies says Prince Andrew should be questioned in court.

OPPOSITION MPs AGREE STRATEGY VS NO DEAL BREXIT

Opposition leaders in the UK say they've agreed a strategy to avoid a 'no deal' Brexit.

They've decided to focus efforts on passing legislation in Parliament which can head off that scenario.

The talks were called by Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn who had suggested being a caretaker Prime Minister if the government loses a vote of no confidence.

A vote of no confidence is still being considered as an option - but many opposition MPs say they couldn't accept Mr Corbyn as a caretaker PM.

It sets up a Parliamentary battle next month over Brexit, with the UK due to leave the European Union on October 31st.

UK correspondent Olly Barratt says Jeremy Corbyn has accepted his preferred plan doesn't yet have enough support.
