He is expected to lay out his position on removing the controversial Irish border backstop clause from the EU withdrawal agreement. But this is not expected to be met with much enthusiasm in Berlin.

But the German chancellor has said Johnson's request to renegotiate the UK's withdrawal agreement from the European Union isn't an option.

President Trump says he's cancelling a visit to Denmark because the country's Prime Minister won't discuss the sale of Greenland to the United States.
It was disclosed last week that the President wants to buy the Danish territory, even though Copenhagen insists it's not for sale.

Russia and China are warning of a new arms race after the United States test-fired a cruise missile this weekend.
The missile flew for more than 500 kilometers before hitting its target, exceeding limits set by the Cold-War era Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, from which the U.S. withdrew in early August.

Police in Uganda say 22 people are confirmed dead after a fuel tanker exploded into flames in the Western part of the country.
According to Police the driver of the fuel truck lost control and rammed into stationary cars at a busy trading Centre in Rubirizi district.
